Corporate Comedy and Other Clever Stuff - that's what my company Funny Business delivers.

I am a comedian who will perform in almost any situation that involves making people laugh. It might be doing an after dinner cabaret show, as MC, hoaxing your guests or something that we come up with together.

When an organisation is holding a function or conference, I can infiltrate the catering staff as The World's Wackiest Waiter and have the guests laughing at my antics and wondering about "the help".  So that I am even more believable, I serve the food and drinks - in my own special style and without spilling or breaking anything.  Of course there are always foul-ups in the kitchen, delays at the bar, wisecracks and mayhem; you name it and it happens.

Being "on work experience" is no excuse, so after dinner I am publicly fired for my behaviour. As an"apology" to the group I then perform my comedy show.

I also specialise in creating and presenting distinctive, one-off scripts where I pretend to be a specialist in your industry.  I am introduced as a key note speaker and my speech starts out being quite credible since I have done extensive research into the topic I am discussing. 

However, before long, I start contradicting myself, going off topic and becoming more and more ridiculous until it becomes clear (to almost everyone) that I am, in fact, a complete fraud.  After revealing my true identity, I leave everyone laughing with my comedy show.

Sometimes a conference needs something to give the delegates a quick lift. I excel at what I call "guerilla comedy" - hit and run laughs. Picture sitting in a sales conference, the mood gets more sombre as figures, projections, and quotas are covered.

Suddenly, at a agreed cue from the speaker, there is a commotion at the back or an interruption of some sort. Maybe a short bloke lumbering a suitcase stumbles into the room purporting to be "checking it out" for another function; perhaps he interjects from the back on a point the speaker has made; maybe he just hijacks the stage, unannounced. It's STEVE DAVIS again, arriving, entertaining and disappearing, leaving delegates awake, alert and refreshed.

Do you need someone to M.C. an event? I am a Master of Ceremonies in the truest sense of the word. The ultimate test of an M.C. is when something goes wrong. I am versatile and quick-witted enough to keep the audience interested and the show moving at the best and worst of times.
