This will only appeal to backgammon players, but you might get the idea even if you aren't.

Playing a 3 point match online against an anonymous player.  I win the first game.

Second game I get 3 or 4 pieces off, get forced into an error, get hit and am behind a 6 point prime.  I offer to resign, since I already have a piece off there is no gammon.  Opponent refuses.  There is no communication in this game so I can't say "give it up" or anything.  I just keep offering to resign each move, opponent keeps refusing.

Then there is finally an opening on the 6 point and you can guess what I rolled.  6-6, rip around the board and suddenly I am in front!

Opponent exits game.  Like, not even resigns or anything, just spits dummy and quits out of game. I laugh hard.

Backgammon is never over until it is over.
