This will only appeal to backgammon players, but you might get the idea even if you aren't.
Playing a 3 point match online against an anonymous player. I win the first game. Second game I get 3 or 4 pieces off, get forced into an error, get hit and am behind a 6 point prime. I offer to resign, since I already have a piece off there is no gammon. Opponent refuses. There is no communication in this game so I can't say "give it up" or anything. I just keep offering to resign each move, opponent keeps refusing. Then there is finally an opening on the 6 point and you can guess what I rolled. 6-6, rip around the board and suddenly I am in front! Opponent exits game. Like, not even resigns or anything, just spits dummy and quits out of game. I laugh hard. Backgammon is never over until it is over. thought at
